TrustedID
Unique Features:
- TrustedID has “Credit Card Monitoring” so they watch places online like forums, P2P networks, etc. to see if your credit card has been compromised
- CreditLock is TrustedID’s service that can implement a credit freeze for you, which is the most effective protection against new account identity theft. There are additional fees for this depending on the State you are in
- Even with our discount, TrustedID is the most expensive option of the “big 3″
LifeLock
Unique Features:
- LifeLock has a child identity theft service which will protect your whole family
- LifeLock has WalletLock, a service to assist you with replacing your ID if your wallet is lost or stolen
- Customer service is 24/7
Summary
As mentioned, both services are great choices. Whether you choose LifeLock or TrustedID depends on which features you personally find the most important. If I had to pick one, I would lean towards TrustedID only because I am a big believer in credit freezes, but they will all do a good job.
