The Best of Identity Thoughts: March 2008

March was the first full month of operation for Identity Thoughts. I tried to balance between identity theft “how-to” articles as well as current events and stuff that is going on. I started two regular features: Identity Thief Thursday, which highlights identity theft cases, and Data Breach Sunday, which discusses recent events where private data has been exposed. I also did the first of what will likely be a number of themed series posts. In this case the “Three D’s of Identity Theft“.
Here are some of the best posts from March (in my opinion):
- March 2nd: Identity Theft Insurance - Is It Worth It?
- March 9th: Child Identity Theft
- March 12: Identity Theft 3 D’s: Deter
- March 14: Identity Theft 3 D’s: Detect
- March 15: Identity Theft 3 D’s: Defend
- March 22: Obama, McCain, and Clinton’s Passport Breach - Why You Should Be Concerned
In addition, I created a page that compares Lifelock vs. LoudSiren vs. TrustedID and has mini-reviews of each.
Given that this is such a new identity theft blog, I’d love any and all feedback. What sort of information would you like? Do you prefer the “how-to” articles or more current events. Are you interested in videos? A podcast? Please leave a comment or email me at bd@identitythoughts.com.
Thank you!
